โปรแกรม QGIS เวอร์ชั่น 2.2 (Valmeira) ออกแล้ว

                  มาถึง ณ ขณะนี้โปรแกรม Quantum GIS ได้ออกรุ่น 2.2 (Valmiera) ได้ปล่อยให้ดาวน์โหลดแล้วและทั้งนี้ มีทั้งรุ่นสำหรับระบบปฏิบัติการต่างๆ Windows, Mac, Debian, Androidทั้งรุ่น 32 bit และ ุ64 bit โดยได้พัฒนามาจากรุ่น 2.01 (Dufour)  ดังต่อไปนี้ คือ

1. You can now define 1:n relations for layers. 
2. It is now possible to export your project to DXF format. 
3. When pasting a selection, it is now possible to create a new layer on the fly from the pasted features. 
4. WMS Legend is now available via a getLegendGraphic request. 
5. It is now possible to digitise a new feature as an interior ring of an existing feature. 
6. Recent expressions are saved in the expression builder for quick re-use. 
7. You can now set the color for the zebra map border style in composer. 
8. You can now rotate any element in the print composer. 
9. Composer window now has scale in the status bar and improved rulers. 
10. Composer output as image can be created with a world file now so that your maps are georeferenced. 
11. Numerous enhancements to the atlas let you preview and print each map sheet. 
12. It is easier to select overlapped items in the map composer. 
13. Support for styling pages and shapes has been improved in the map composer. 
14. QGIS Server can now deliver Web Coverage Service (WCS) maps. 
15. Gradients can now be used for polygon fills. 
16. Classes in paletted rasters can now be labelled. 
17. Colour ramps can now be inverted. 
18. Rules in the rule based renderer can now be copied and pasted. 
19. Support for on-the-fly feature generalisation has been added. 
20. For marker layers you can now define the anchor points / origin of the marker. 
21. For vector symbology you can now use expressions instead of only a field for the classification. 
22. Size and attributes of diagram renderer can now be set using expressions. 
23. Polygon outlines can be drawn with an inner stroke (to prevent the stroke being drawn in a neighbouring polygon) 
24. The visual style of all our properties dialogs has been improved. 
25. The keybindings for the user interface have been updated to make it easier to navigate. 
26. QGS now supports multiple datum transformations. 
27. 'Processing' now has a script editor. 
28. 'Processing' can be used headless in scripts.
